PhD · Agricultural & Resource Economics

Welcome to my website. I am an Agricultural and Resource Economist whose research examines livestock sustainability, animal welfare and societal attitudes, and agricultural policy. My work focuses on how information, incentives, and preferences shape production and consumption decisions across food systems. I combine applied econometrics with survey and experimental methods to analyse farmer behaviour, consumer choice, and policy effectiveness.

I am currently a Senior Lecturer in the School of Agriculture and Environment at Massey University, New Zealand, an Associated Graduate Faculty member at the University of Guelph, Canada, and a Visiting Lecturer at Newcastle University, England. I also serve as Lead Researcher for the Corporate Food Net Zero Initiative and am a co‑founder of Africa Mind Mine.

Previously, I held faculty positions at the University of Wisconsin–River Falls, USA and Newcastle University. I hold a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Alberta,Canada, an MSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Saskatchewan,Canada and a BSc (First Class Honours) in Agriculture from the University of Ghana.
